Amanda List was admitted to the California Bar in 2002. She practices primarily in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Ms. List is a graduate of The University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. Ms. List received the Prosser Prize in Estate Planning and Taxation in her 3rd year of law school. She was a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, Boalt Business Law Society, and the Commencement Committee. Ms. List has been practicing family law since January 2004. Ms. List received her B.A., magna cum laude in Broadcasting and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University in 1997. Ms. List was on the Dean's List, a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and recipient of the Achievement Award for Academic Excellence. Ms. List grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. She has lived in California full-time since 1992. She has one child and two ferocious dogs.
